With a 5mm hook and one strand of yarn on the hook. Use a 4-medium weight yarn, I am using Vanna’s Choice from Lion Brand.

Chain 8, sc in the second chain from the hook. Sc in the rest of the chains. (7 sc)

Rows 2-13: sc across (7 sc)

Make a door knob by placing a french knot where a door knob would be, at about row 5.

Insert the needle from the back of the work to the front, wrap the yarn around the needle twice, insert the needle right next to the spot that it is being pulled up from the door and carefully pull through to the back.

WINDOWS

Make 2

With grey and a 5mm hook, chain 5, sc in the second chain from the hook, sc in the rest of the chains. (4 sc)

Row 2-4: sc across (4 sc) Finish off and weave ends.

Add a white border to the window by attaching white to any corner. Four sc on each side with a chain 1 in each corner.

Make two separate chains of 4. Hot glue the chains in a cross in the center of the window. Weave the ends.

SHUDDERS

Make 4

Chain 9, hdc in the third chain from the hook, hdc in the rest of the chains. (7 hdc)

FLOWER BOXES

With brown and a 5mm crochet hook, chain 8, hdc in the third chain from the hook, hdc in the rest of the chains. (6 hdc). Finish off and weave ends.

With green and a 5mm crochet hook, chain 8, dc in the third chain from the hook, *sl st in the next, dc in the next*. Repeat from *-* for the rest of the chains.

Hot glue along the very bottom of the green to the top of the brown flower box.

Now take a long stand of whatever color you want your flower to be and a tapestry needle. You will be making french knots in random spots for the flowers. Make a knot at one end, needle on the other

Insert the needle from the back of the work to the front pull all the way through until the knot stops, wrap the yarn around the needle twice, insert the needle right next to the spot that it is being pulled up from the green and carefully pull through to the back. Repeat until you have your desired amount of flowers.
