YOU WILL NEED

  • I use 4-medium weight yarn.. You will need one skein of each color or just use scraps that you have around. Some parts I use two strands of yarn on the hook at the same time, requiring a 5mm hook. When using a single strand of yarn I used a 3.75mm hook.

  • Brown and white 4 medium weight yarn

  • US 5mm and 3.75mm crochet hook

  • A hot glue gun and glue sticks

  • Tapestry needle

  • Felt for backing (optional)

  • 4 medium weight yarn – I recommend using I Love This Cotton from Hobby Lobby in Antique Gold and White

  • A piece of felt and some twine or string.

Assembly:

Cut a 10 inch piece of yarn, twine or string for the ornament. Tie in a knot and glue to the back of the top of the house, then glue the house to felt. Cut out the house on the piece of felt.

Use white yarn and a tapestry needle to sew in extra designs and snow fall at the bottom of the house. To make the snow balls I made french knots.
